If you are planning to stay on the island of Antigua for an extended period of time, or if you are traveling with a large group of people, then renting an apartment, bed and breakfast, or villa may best fit your vacationing needs.
Some of the villa-apartments come at very reasonable prices ranging from $100(USD) to $200(USD) per night, while some can be as much as $1,500(USD) per night and even up to $5,000(USD) weekly depending on the location, number of rooms, and size of the villa. There are approximately 65 privately owned rental properties on the island, so visitors have no shortage of villas to choose from.

While giving you, your family, and your friends room to stretch your legs, these rental properties often have spectacular scenery. Some are located on the harbor between the marina and beautiful white sand beaches, while others are bungalows surrounded by rich plant life. The largest concentration of villas on the island are near English Harbour and Falmouth. Their comfort and autonomy make renting a property feel like a home away from home.
Most of the island's apartments are self-catering and offer fully equipped kitchens and spacious living and dining areas. Get all of the comforts of home while on the island, including coffeemakers, microwave ovens, and cable T.V. to name a few. The biggest concern with renting a vacation property on Antigua is the amount of research that must be done in order to aquire a nice facility. The rental property industry is not as prevelent as on some of the other Caribbean islands, and many of the nicest properties remain unlisted because owners prefer to work directly with clients. Those that are represented by management companies who widely advertise are not always given the company's full attention, so if you are looking for a lot of care from your property manager you may need to speak to several agencies until you find what you feel is the right fit for you. That being said, the independence granted to vacationers who choose to stay at rental properties are looking for may mean that you prefer not to have management interfere with your daily comings and goings. This makes using these companies the perfect choice.
While vacationing on Antigua, you can experience the beauty and culture of the island with all comfort and amenities you enjoy at home when you choose to rent a property rather than stay at a hotel or resort.
